Reimagining Endings
3 Nature-Based Practices For When You Don’t Know What to Do with Loss
Free 60-Minute Live Webinar · Thursday, September 24 · 11am PT
Sometimes something ends before we’ve had a chance to say goodbye.
A relationship changes with things still unsaid. A job ends without a chance to acknowledge the years you gave it. Someone you love dies. Or a familiar chapter of your life is drawing to a close, and you’re not ready.
Life keeps moving. But something in you still needs time to catch up.
You may know you need to grieve, but what does that look like? What can you do when words are hard to find, or there was never an opportunity for goodbye?
Nature gives us somewhere to bring those questions. A fallen leaf, a bare branch, a flower going to seed: endings are visible all around us. They belong to the living world because they feed life. Our own endings deserve a place, too.
In this free webinar, you’ll learn three practices that bring together nature, art, and ritual to help you acknowledge an ending, express what you’re carrying, and give it your attention.
You can begin with whatever feels unfinished.
In this session, you’ll learn:
Approach an Ending: Discover how observing change in nature can help you recognize an ending in your own life and reflect on what it asks of you.
Give Loss a Form: Learn a simple creative practice with natural materials to express feelings and experiences that can be difficult to put into words.
Mark a Goodbye: Explore how a simple ritual can give an ending acknowledgment, even when you couldn’t choose how it happened or say everything you wanted to say.
This is for you if: You’re facing an ending, carrying a loss that still feels unfinished, or supporting someone who is. Therapists, grief counselors, death doulas, hospice and palliative workers, chaplains, social workers, educators, and facilitators will find practices to explore personally and consider bringing into their work.
You’re welcome whether the ending is approaching, happening now, or happened years ago.
