I want simplicity. Like the hummingbirds have it. Like the water has it. Like this puppy sleeping at my feet has it. I want slow. Like the rocks do it. Like the clouds do it. Like the cactus on my desk does it. Good thing we have so many to remind us

I want us to enter autumn welcoming the quiet, knowing something other than constant efforting, letting our tenderness be another way of being with each other, and allowing this whole life to be enough. 🍁
